About me

Welcome to Little Sweet Art! I'm Anakita, an artist based in Bendigo, Victoria, with a passion for capturing the essence of Australian animals and landscapes through original artwork and prints.

My inspiration springs from immersive hikes and camping adventures across Australia, where I find myself in awe of our native wildlife thriving in its natural habitat. The sheer diversity of our flora and fauna never fails to captivate me; it's a privilege to call this remarkable country home to such a wealth of unique species amidst breathtaking landscapes.

Back in my studio, I translate these experiences into tangible art pieces using a versatile range of media. From expansive, oil or acrylic-painted canvases depicting sweeping landscapes to delicate pastel, pencil, watercolour, or gouache renditions of our native fauna, each piece carries a personal touch.

I aim to capture the inner beauty and tranquility of animals and their surroundings in my work. Whether reflecting on my childhood spent amidst farm animals or drawing inspiration from traversing The Blue Mountains or The Grampians, nature has always been my sanctuary.

Through my paintings, I strive to create joy and evoke the same sense of peace and awe that nature inspires in me, inviting you to share in the wonder of our Australian wilderness.

About the prints

Our prints are produced here in Bendigo, Australia, from original watercolour paintings, unmounted and unframed. All prints come in ‘ready to frame’ sizes, including A5, A4, and A3.

All prints are printed on 300gsm smooth surface fine art paper.

Archival pigment inks are used, which accurately represent the colour of the original artwork. Colours may vary slightly to what you see on your computer monitor due to differences in monitor calibrations.

Prints are shipped using Australia Post and are fully protected with a backing board, plastic cello sleeve and rigid cardboard envelope.

If you would like to store your prints long-term before framing, remove them from the packaging and keep away from dust, UV light and humidity in archival boxes with interleaving acid free sheets. To prolong the life of your framed prints, they are best displayed in a low-humidity environment and away from direct sunlight.
